![]() A family service will be held at the Wilson United Church Cemetery at a later date with Dale Crawford officiating. There are many other cousins, too numerous to mention. Another special cousin, Iris (Robert) Morton predeceased him. Lorne also leaves behind his aunt, Jean Burns his loving cousin/sister Valerie (Wendel Shepherd) and very special cousins, Ian (Gert) MacKinnon, Barry (Karen) MacKinnon, Rosalyn (George) Coady. Lorne is survived by his loving wife and soul mate, Cheryl daughters Melanie (Chris Graten), Christena (Alex Green), and Jillian(Johnathon MacLeod) grandchildren, MacKenzie, Seth, Sasha, Leela, and Eleanor. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Frances MacDonald his parents-in-law, Bill and Lorraine Phillips aunts, Hughena, Peggy, Martha uncles Neil and Ross. When he wasn't spending time with his family, he could always be found making sure that it was spotless. During that time, many amazing friendships were forged.
